Agricultural Engineering Planning and Designing Centre (Nanjing Design Academy of Ministry of Agriculture)(AEPDC)

The Centre was set up in 1985 by approval of Ministry of Agriculture with qualifications issued by Ministry of Construction, the A class (cultural engineering), the B class (veterinary/animal livestock engineering and facility agricultural engineering) in agriculture and forest industries and B class building design qualification, and the consultant qualification of agriculture and construction engineering issued by the National Development and Reform Commission. The Centre is able to undertake the related business of general contract of building engineering and the project management, the agricultural engineering technology study and the establishment of the industry rules and standards of Ministry of Agriculture. There are 42 staff in total, including 28 senior engineering personnel.

Nanjing Design Academy (Agricultural Engineering Planning and Designing Centre) is the only A class qualification design unit of Ministry of Agriculture in east China area with capacity of providing complete process technical service of agricultural engineering. The complete process technical service covers from the pre-project plan, the project proposal, and the feasibility study, the engineering planning and designing, up to the project construction process management.
