NRIAM staff attended the 3rd Regional Forum on Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization in Asia and the Pacific

During December 8th to 12th, the 3rd Regional Forum on Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization in Asia and the Pacific is held in Manila, the Philippines, which organized by Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization. The meeting was attended by almost 50 participants from member countries and 200 local participants pertinent to agricultural mechanization. The forum is focus on the “Human Resource Development for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization”. Dr. Cao Guangqiao from Nanjing Research Institute for Agricultural Mechanization (NRIAM) had been honored invited and gave a speech on “Practice and Prospect of Human resource development of NRIAM”. The speech was delivered in three aspects, the brief introduction of NRIAM, general situation of agricultural mechanization of human resources development and future plan on human resources development. In the end of the speech, he suggested and expected to strengthen international cooperation and communication in agricultural technology and set up a mechanism of agricultural mechanization normalization of cooperation in the Asia-pacific region. During the meeting, Dr. Cao Guangqiao had a delightful talk with Mr. Madhusudan Singh Basnyat from Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD) Nepal, confirming to hold a joint Training of Trainers (ToT) on testing of two wheel tractor and attached equipment the next year.
