NRIAM awarded for outstanding innovative project

The negative Pressure type tea series of pest sucked equipment and technology developed by the team of fruit-vegetable-tea of NRIAM cash crops center won the outstanding innovative project prize in the second session of the National Modern Physical Agricultural Engineering Technology. The pest sucked equipment takes the principle of negative pressure to produce a good effect of pests capture with reducing the usage of chemical insecticide. After several rounds of improvement and modification, the equipment has been put into mass production with enhancement of performance. The technology and equipment is a breakthrough innovation in our tea pests control technology with significance in improvement of tea garden bio-evironment, enhancement of tea quality, driving upgrades and development of tea industry.
