Training Course of Rice Mechanization for ASEAN Countries Successfully Held

NRIAM hosted the training course of rice mechanization for ASEAN countries from June 17 – 25, 2014 in Nanjing. Eighteen participants coming from seven countries have undertaken the listening of lectures, visiting the agricultural machinery factories, looking at the demonstration of agricultural machinery in field and discussion with Chinese experts during the period of time. The participants gave high evaluation on the training course. Mr. Pao Sinath from Cambodia said, ‘by this chance we have known fully the present Chinese agricultural mechanization development, seen the great achievements in the opening and reform, and felt the cordial friendship of Chinese people. 

NRIAM will organize the training courses regularly for developing countries every year and has a plan of training programme for the countries, including members and observers, of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) next year.
