NRIAM won the 15th China “Patent Award”
2014-12-29
The 15th China Patent Award announced publicly on November 11 in Beijing. We are the excellence award winner, by right of the invention patent named rape pick harvester.
This winning invention was designed innovatively according to a variety of agronomic requirements, which includes the tall and large plants, many branches and inconsistency maturity of transplanted rape in the Yangtze River. This harvesting technology filled a domestic gap in the southern rape seed rotation region. And it solved the harvesting technical bottlenecks of rape production mechanization in our country.
The rape pick harvester designed on this patented technology has the following advantages, when compared with the manual operation: It saves the cost and increases the efficiency obviously. Besides, it makes the efficiency improved more than 30 times and saves the operating costs more than 900 yuan per hectare. This combine harvester can help farmers to reduce labor intensity significantly. It can make farmers to be freed from the heavy labor, and save a lot of operating costs, however increase the actual yield. It provides an advanced, appropriate technology and equipment for China’s rape production.
In 2010, the technical achievement was identified as the most important technology by the national rapeseed industry technology system. It was applied publicly in the rapeseed main producing areas of the Yangtze region basins, and welcomed warmly by users. All of those works promote rapid development of rapeseed production mechanization in China.
